Malaysia's Ministry of Higher Education published a MyQUEST 2016/2017 result table in which Kolej Yayasan UEM received a rating of 5 in the Medium Size Colleges category.

Sponsored entry is a separate process

Malaysia's Public Service Department (JPA) Annual Report 2016 records that, for the 2016 JPA National Sponsorship Programme, 90 applicants were called to Cambridge Online Test and interview sessions, 64 attended, and 20 were offered sponsorship to begin A-Level preparation at the college.

Capacity figure is historical

In a 15 November 2013 interview published by afterschool.my, KYUEM's then headmaster said the college had a maximum student capacity of 520 and was expected to be at full capacity by July 2014.

For the 2022 graduating cohort, a school-supplied article published by The Edge Malaysia stated that 84% of students secured unconditional offers of enrolment at leading universities.
