    School and course fees charged by GST-registered education providers in Singapore are taxable supplies subject to the prevailing Goods and Services Tax rate of 9%, in force since 1 January 2024. Only providers whose taxable turnover exceeds S$1 million (or that register voluntarily) must charge GST; this depends on the provider's registration status, not a family's citizenship or residency.
