1998: The Founding Acquisition

The school's origins trace to 1998, when its founders acquired a small kindergarten operating under the name Educare, located in the Ruam Rudee area of central Bangkok. At the time, Educare had approximately 50 pupils. The acquisition was privately financed and driven by a vision to provide internationally excellent, child-centered education in a part of Bangkok that was home to a growing expatriate community.

Following the acquisition, the school was rebranded as Ruam Rudee Learning Centre, signaling a new phase of ambition and institutional identity.

2001: Primary and Secondary Divisions Open

By 2001, demand from the growing student body and Bangkok's expanding international community prompted the launch of a full British National Curriculum Primary division, and a nascent Secondary division. With this expansion, the school was renamed RC International School — the name it retains today. The Admissions Process

2. 3. Placement Assessment — All Primary and Secondary applicants (Years 1–7) sit an English and mathematics placement test. The test fee is THB 2,000. 4. Fee Payment and Enrollment — Once a conditional offer is made (subject to passing the assessment and available places), enrollment is secured through payment of the required fees.

English Requirements

As English is the medium of instruction across all subjects, applicants are expected to have sufficient English proficiency to access the curriculum. The school offers an English Language Programme to support students who are developing their English skills, reflecting a commitment to EAL inclusion. However, students who are entirely new to English may find the immersive environment challenging at the Primary and Secondary levels.

Financial Considerations

Annual tuition ranges from THB 132,000 (Nursery, 3-day half-day) to THB 244,650 (Year 7). The school offers a 5% sibling discount on tuition fees for younger siblings of currently enrolled students.
