Archetype Group, a leading regional architecture and engineering firm, was engaged to design the campus. The resulting plan called for five main buildings spread across a 9.47-acre site, with a total built area of approximately 32,000 sqm and capacity for up to 2,000 students. The facilities were planned to include science laboratories, multiple libraries, a swimming pool, sports hall, theatre, culinary room, rooftop garden, health bay, and an outdoor amphitheatre-style 'Agora' — an unusually comprehensive provision for a brand-new institution.

Opening and IB Authorization

After years of planning and construction, Phase 1 of the campus officially opened on 6 August 2025. The opening ceremony was attended by notable stakeholders and marked a significant milestone for international education in Mandalay — a city that had historically lagged behind Yangon in terms of international school options.

Within months of opening, the school secured IB Diploma Programme (DP) authorization on 3 November 2025, cementing its status as an IB World School. The school had already been operating the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP) on a candidate basis, and with DP authorization it became Myanmar's first school to offer the complete IB continuum from early childhood through pre-university.

The initiative offers a 40% reduction in tuition fees for the enrolment period, open to any child from an earthquake-affected area regardless of nationality.

This programme is notable for several reasons. First, it is a meaningful financial intervention — a 40% reduction on annual fees ranging from USD 6,000 to USD 13,500 represents a significant saving for affected families.
