IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) Schools

The IB PYP is a curriculum framework for children aged 3-12 that uses inquiry-based, transdisciplinary learning. It focuses on six themes: who we are, where we are in place and time, how we express ourselves, how the world works, how we organize ourselves, and sharing the planet.

The PYP is designed for students aged 3 to 12, covering early years (ages 3-6) and primary school (ages 6-12). This makes it suitable for preschool through elementary or primary school years.

The PYP builds foundational skills in inquiry, critical thinking, and self-management that directly support success in the MYP and DP. Students develop the IB Learner Profile attributes and become accustomed to concept-driven, transdisciplinary learning approaches.
