Securing the Campus

In April 2025, Taaleem confirmed the acquisition of a 50,000 sqm plot on Hessa Street (Al Thanyah Second, Jumeirah Village Circle, Dubai). The site was purpose-selected for its scale — large enough to accommodate a full FS1–Year 13 school with comprehensive sports, arts and science facilities, ultimately designed to serve up to 1,800–2,000 students at full capacity.

The architectural design of the campus was notable enough to win a World's Best Designed School Award, signalling the ambition behind the project from the very beginning.

Leadership Appointment

In July 2025, Taaleem announced the appointment of Simon O'Connor as Founding Head Master (also titled Executive Principal). O'Connor brought substantial senior leadership experience in international schools, and his appointment marked the formal beginning of the school's staffing phase. As of June 2026, the school was on track to open on schedule in September 2026, beginning with approximately 400 pupils enrolled across Foundation Stage 1 through Year 6 (ages 3–11). The phased expansion plan envisions adding senior year groups annually, reaching Year 13 by 2029, when the school will offer full GCSE and A-Level programmes.
