Kochi Kokusai admits students through Kochi Prefecture's standard public high school entrance selection (入学者選抜) process. The school offers 280 seats per grade: 200 in the General course and 80 in the Global course. Applicants take the standard written entrance examination; Global course applicants additionally undergo an interview and practical skills test (実技検査). No English test is required. From 2026, out-of-prefecture applicants may apply under special 'Kochi Frontier' provisions with prior Prefectural Board approval. As a public school, there are no admission fees or tuition payments.
The application deadline for A-Schedule Entrance Examination — January/February is 2027-01-15.
